who of you dealing with video editing is perhaps interested in this:
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/de/products/davinciresolve/
so far, resolve has been known for its color-editing capabilities. in the newest version there is "a bit" more. a pretty good mediabrowser, a cutting-editor that I like much more than the premiere-editor, an effects area that looks powerful like aftereffects, the well-known color editor, a audio-engine and a very simple to use render-area.
the new version (16beta/no trial or timebomb) is FREE!
there is a pro version for 350 €. Features such as dcp rendering (cinema), 4k editing, tracking are not included in the free version. but for normal cut, effects, color correction and rendering it should be enough. the audio section is quite powerful and you can even use vst plugins.
I like this program because it has everything under one surface and you do not need like adobe 4-5 programs which also cost all the multiple of this pro-version.
