  1. aas was implemented to keep the fighting in mostly one spot the you cap you set up a defence and you assault the next flag imo that is how it should work Yupp true ..... for deployment. Bots are hardcodded and u need a special mapstrategy to stop the "moving bots to uncapable flags" behaviour. Additionally, excample ramiel: 2 cas choppers, multiple strykers/ humvees and one m2a2. That must handle a rolling techie crew. It's only a question of teamwork. The closest I can think of to this is street 2 Street 2 have a playground like 200m x 200m, the spawnpoints are to close to the next flags and the map have no vehicles, it have short viewdistance, heavy fog and bad light conditions. U cannot compare street2 and ramiel because this maps are totally different from gameplay design.
  2. no one plays commander anyways cause no one wants to listen to him That is one reason and maybe another reason is he haven't any asset like arty. Use the game with all options he have for a better game experience. That's my point. Golden rule for all generall things : It's better to have it but not use it than you need it but not have it! A commander is an additional, usefully, option for the game and teamplay. Playing with a 6 man squad and commander is awesome and i think our server have enough good people to have one day the commander as a standard. Last time i played and noticed, that all SL players are in TS3 and dealing with other SL's and they doing it better than peoples on deployment servers. The commander must not say the SL's what they must do (they allready know the game) but he can help to coordinate things like repair- or supply drops between the different squads. Thats all. I personally sad about the missing arty on maps like fallujah, karbala, lashkar and especially on ramiel to kill the ZPU's. But here an other suggestion What all thinking about to give all flags, exceptions are the mainbases, the same supplyline ID? That means : All flags can be captured but the mainbases are locked until all other flags are owned by the opponent team! That also prevents the idle bots at some uncapable flags that often happens on karbala/carpark. If are some bots at a flag that isn't a main - they can capture it !boss I hope that enhance the playtime and funfactor of an round. Fastjack
  3. In my opinion, we must remove the knife from the us medic kit too. The medic is more an CQC unit and it makes no sense for me to draw a knife, "in melee range" if i can punch him with the m16a4 butt. Another important thing: add to each map the commander arty. No one will play commander without toys.
  4. Incendiary grenades for most kits (linked to 9 key so if you spawn with a parachute you wont get an incendiary unless AR) If u want , all kits can have an incendary and parachute. NO ONE need smokenades because they doesn't help vs bots. make a clone of the incendary and give it the itemindex of the smokenades. !gamer
  5. I choose the 3 medic option because i'm the rifleman small group = stealthy heal ability = healthy CQB weapons = ninja me = infinity ammo @lupago: the CAM humvee is called CROWs humvee. HMMWV Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) !puffpass new smiley lol

SU just jumps you from site, to site, to site, based on your Likes So for excample: If i LIKE some moddingcommunity sites like BF2 or Arma topics/threads, SU salvage those informations about ME and let me STUMBLE on/to other sites, they have other informations about my bf2/Arma activities like news, updates whatever and maybe other mod'able games.   8. !clown CC, i'm able to use google and i did it before but i linked to a site with JOIN FOR FREE. I dont know anything about STUMBLE (first time i noticed) and without background informations Fastjack isn't willing to sign up on unknown things. Seriosly CC, what is Stumble? I think it's like an social network but what is differently? Is it like a Facebook for gamers like GameBook?

  11. BMP and Bradley firing a ATGM. It's an anti tank guided missiles like the TOW missile. Merkava: this tank can shot an ATGM too. So with what weapon u fired on the tank T.E.D.F ? The AT round or the ATGM? I believe, 4 LAT missiles can kill a tank, if u hitting the lower back.

  13. That is the problem with citymaps like muttrah or ramiel and missiles weapons. Sometimes it's really strange with handheld AT's. Problem are the deviation settings in the tweaks. U get the best hit results under following conditions: Standing still - aim slowly (keeping in mind the mindistance of 10m) and do that 6.75 seconds before u firing on targets. RPG's need 8.5 seconds to be really ready (i mean, firing without deviation tweak penalties).

  15. I have also notice that, if you shoot at key points of the vehicles you can take them down quick, is always good to keep that in mind when you enter in the battlefield! Maybe someone can test and confirm this vulnerable spot of the spandrel. I needed 6 or 7 mag's (semimode) and the TOW starts burning and explode. I did that with an canadian rifle (C7 or C8 idk) but it can tested with M4's too. Same ammotype (556_45_r).
  16. Well the rifles are basicly what terremer said an ak is about the same as an m4 and the lmg are about the same !vampire That is not correct! There are differences but u can't see it. The PR-Devs obeyed (irl) the calibres of the weapons an created for them projectiles. MATERIALs have characteristics like resistance, minimum damageloss, friction, elasticity and more abilities. Not to forget, the Damage output of the primary projectiletweak. If the projectile (material3762 5.56x45) collide with another object (material25 Human_head), both materials gonna compared and caluclated. Some Materials absorbing damage like body armors or else. I don't know the exact multiplicators but head has an damage multiplier like 3. It works like that but with MaterialCells. Hard to explain. Excample: U aiming at an enemy, range under 400m with your M4 and pull the trigger. Ur bullet hit the head with a base damage of 36 (multiplier head 3) = 108 - (head_material absorbing 0.01% =1.8) final 106.2 damage. An soldier have actually 100 hitpoints. U killed him. The THING with "not revivable" is triggered by pythoncode. Other aspects are, that the 5.56x45 flying faster as 7.64x39 and losing damage at a range at 400m (7.62x39 at range 200m) But AK's better in CQB. More damage and fullautmode. M4 have only semi- or burstmode. The _r behind the 556_45_r standing for, if the projectile causing richochets. Vehicles have not only different HITPOINT values ! They have different Materials at different locations too like heli_armor and cockpit_glass_penetrable. I mentioned it because yesterday on Lashkar deployment : BLUFOR C4'ed our ammocache and a chopper tried to evac the team. He tried it too close to me. With a smile in my face and a full mag .....ratarattarratttarrrattta. Than ... the Mumble message ... Chopper going down ... pilot shot .... the secondary pilot switched and did an amazing emergency landing betwen trees in a valley. He went out to heal himself with bandages and started the engine. Its in the vehicle_objects.zip/common/radiochatter/ Open tweakfile (notepad) and replace 3 times (Fire1P / Fire1P_Outdoor and Fire3P) the radiochatter.wav with ur NAME_OF_THE_WAVE_FILE. From this : ObjectTemplate.soundFilename "objects/vehicles/common/radiochatter/sound/radiochatter.wav" to this : ObjectTemplate.soundFilename "objects/vehicles/common/radiochatter/sound/SpeirsSound.wav" Speirs, i need an "ringing mobile phone" sound (4 seconds is enough) for my botmodded IED's.
  18. i fully agree, M14 EBR is a damn fine weapon note that most aren't in PR Ok, its a bit to shiny but looks nice and the barrel is to long.
  19. Hey mates, finally, i found a solution for long startup times for Project Reality. Inside of ur Profile folder "documents/BF2/your profile/0001" is a con file called "General". Open the "General" con file and u will find some lines with "favorite server". Deleting this lines, will boost ur logintime of pr because bf2 don't will check anymore ur favorite servers in this con file. To many favorite server entries causing long startup times for PR and maybe for other BF2 mods too. I did it and i reduced my login time from 1minute to 3 seconds. That is a good deal.
