    Any admin wishing to get the admins list, let me know and I'll send it to you. The list is currently for admins only.
  2. It could be that your Minecraft isn't getting enough RAM to be able to survive for long on servers with loads of machines running at the same time. Go to your AT launcher - Settings - Java/minecraft tab and check how much max RAM usage is allowed. It should be at least over 2gb in order for the modded minecraft to stay active.

  6. Switch command is also moved up to the highest level as there's no need for it since Melon put some kind of smart bot balance in, denying anyone of joining the bot team.
  7. Thank you all who joined! I personally had a blast observing the fight from above and I hope you guys had fun as well. Congratulations Team Blue for the victory with final score 2 wins out of 3. The start was a bit hectic and messy to get people on the correct teams on which I take the blame for doing testing stuff too late and releasing maps without proper checkups, causing to make patches. Fortunately, Lady PR was on our side during the event and server stayed mostly stable and didn't crash. Special Thanks to Sydney for helping out with the maps, roster and ingame stuff.   8. Mapvote got moved to the highest admin level a while ago as it's damn useless command and causes server crashes every 8 times out of 10. !admins should work for everyone except regular players and light admins. All available admin commands are listed on PR admin HQ teamspeak channel

  11. Hi again, As some of you have probably already noticed, I managed to F up quite a few of the assets on the maps. I'm gonna upload a small fix for that. To install it, simply put server.zip into your grozny folder. (NOT Assault_on_grozny!!!!!!!!!!!!!). When asked to overwrite, click yes. Click Here
  12. Hi chaps, Sorry for such a delay, but my internet went wild yesterday and therefore I wasn't able to finish the upload. I'll post the maps in an hour or so, after I have managed to set them up on the server. Also, me and editor program had a massive fight yesterday while trying to fix the flag issue, meaning that we are forced to use vanilla flag layouts and therefore removing capture the flag winning condition. Some of the maps have few static weapon systems (at /aa guns) and light vehicles like techies laying around. Players are NOT allowed to use any other vehicle than in what they have signed up OR that's been provided by the observer. The winning condition will be - the first team to collect 50 points (may be changed, depending on how the first round goes) wins. Earning the points is simple : 1. A kill earns the team 1 point 2. Killing the enemy command tank earns the team 10 points. Also the teams are going to be shuffled a bit to balance them out. The final list will be given prior to the event start.   13. I believe we did use it back in the day, but it turned out to be unreliable and often moved people from temp ban list to permanent or didn't work at all, causing a lot of headache for the admins.

  16. it's not too hard to get the old maps to run actually. Sure, they can be buggy as hell if you dig too deep ingame, but all in all it's playable. The biggest problem is to get the maps. The mappack was released 3-4 years ago and it's next to impossible to find it now as it has long been removed from official sources. If anyone has any of the old maps, please send them over so I can convert them for the latest PR . Special cookie to whoever sends me Street 2

"VEHICLE WARFARE" - 30th July 2016 / 1900 h PRT (project reality time) Gamemode description : Two teams roll out from their respective main bases in their armored vehicles to battle each other on 3 different maps. Each team has different kind of vehicles, from light scout vehicles to heavy battle tanks. The objective of both teams is simple - Destroy the enemy team and capture the flag. Winning conditions : First team to reach 50 points wins. (may change depending on how the first round goes. Scoring : 1. A kill will earn the team 1 point 2. Killing enemy Command Tank earns the team 10 points. Logistics : Each team will be given access for emergency repairs and transport back to main for crewmembers. Emergency repairs are only for vehicles that have lost their tracks and are stuck on the map. In order to apply for logistical support, team leaders have to contact the observer of their respective team. Rules : 1. Standard Veterans Gaming server rules (with certain exceptions) 2. Only vehicle combat is allowed! 3. Crew members must immediately proceed to the closest evacuation zone (given later) for extraction. Crew members are not allowed to remain in the combat area to scout or to fight with enemy crew members. Crew is not allowed to request kits from APCs or any other logistical sources. Crew is not allowed to move / remain inside the capzone when vehicle has been lost. 4. Both teams will have 5 - 10 minute warmup time at the start of each round. In that time, everyone must remain in their respective main bases until green light is given. 5. Observers may call in CEASE FIRE / HOLD command. When that command has been issued, all vehicles and crews must immediately stop and disengage from any current activities. That command is used to investigate any kind of misbehave or cheating / rule breaking. 6. Additional rules may be added 7. Only the observers are allowed to use admin / rcon commands! 8. In case of server failure, extra offerings will be sent to lady PR. If that doesn't help then the event will be rescheduled. 6. Some of the maps may be cancelled if previous ones take too much time. 7. If not enough players have signed up then the event will be cancelled / replaced with something else 8. Server will be locked 1 - 2 hours prior to the event with the custom maps for anyone to check if they got it correctly installed. To get the password, poke TED(F) on TS. Maps - Click Here To install, simply extract the folders from vehicle_warfare.zip (grozny / hades / shija) to your project reality/mods/pr/levels folder. If it asks to overwrite anything, abort immediately and consult with me. To uninstall, just delete the folders that you added. Some of those maps have few broken assets, which shouldn't be a problem as I can spawn in additional vehicles when needed. I noticed this after the upload, so I'd rather type in few commands to get the asset instead of spending another 2 hours trying to get the maps uploaded. =VG= TED(F)
  20. I'm personally in favor of deployment rule set up for mech inf having access to one, 2 - man APC/IFV. Currently, the set of rules we have for mech inf makes so many issues and problems as we can see from this thread. Teamwork between Mech INf and APC squads just doesn't work on COOP most of the times. There are too many new players on and personally I would rather have my own personal vehicle in the squad than to spend 10 minutes explaining to the other APC driver where to go and then to come back and pick up the other 2 guys that got left behind because we can't fit them inside the vehicle ( BF2 engine limit)

    PR Events

    Each one of the events will be sign up only as the server must be locked due to custom content. The amount of slots depends on how many people show interest in joining . As most of those events doesn't have any role for the AI, the humans can take the slots occupied by them. Worst case scenario we can set up a 100 player bike race As for "Vehicle Warfare" I planned to have around 10 - 15 vehicles on both sides (20 - 30 player per team). Again, that number may change depending on signups. The size of the map will depend on how many players sign up. The plan is to have at least one player who survives and manages to run through all of the CPs on the map (1 sec capture time) and reach to the end. It will most likely be 1 match only event as some of the players may die within minutes. No event is complete without Tad Sae

    The current plan is to use the default maps as I and the Editor aren't getting along that well atm. I know that the "Back to Oman" mappack was released few days ago, but that will not be used as it's not official and belongs to another community.

    PR Events

    Hi chaps! While we are waiting for the servers to come online again and for PR 1.4 release, "Veterans - Gaming" and "Event Factory" are happy to announce the series of PR related events that will take place during the summer of 2016. The events will vary from simple PvP races to more complex team vs team competitions. So without further ado, here are some examples of the "gamemodes" that are currently planned. 1. "Collection" In this gamemode there will be multiple teams of 2 people who will take an insurgent vehicle (techie / civi car) out on a hunt for various letters that have been hidden all across the map. After collecting all the letters, the team must drive back to base and then form a word with the letters gathered. Whoever gets the correct word to the referee first wins the race. If the provided word is wrong, the team will suffer a penalty. 2. "Bike Me" Simple race where each player is given a bike and the main objective is to reach to the finish first by driving through various checkpoints placed on the map. 3. "Vehicle Warfare" This is a World of Tanks kind of gamemode where 2 teams roll out with their armored assets with a simple mission - Destroy all enemy vehicles or capture the CP on the map. Both teams will have the same kind of asset layout. Heavy tanks, Scouts, Long range support etc. All vehicles will be without thermals. In order to prevent heavy camping, a CP is placed on the map. Whoever captures this flag first wins the mach. The CP will be in an area which would be impossible to camp from long range and will have relatively big capture range. 4. "Vehicle Warfare AIR edition" Pretty much the same gamemode as the previous one, only that the land assets are swapped out with jets / Choppers. The objective is simple - Destroy all enemy assets. Both teams will have the same asset layout. MIG - 29 IS BANNED! 5. "Stabby - Stab" Team vs Team competition with a simple mission - get a certain amount of kills before the enemy does. The fight will take place on urban maps with knives as the only weapon. The first team to reach certain amount of kills wins. 6. "Capture my Bike" A gamemode where 2 teams battle each other with a simple mission - capture the bike from enemy held territory and bring it back to the friendly base. The first team to retrieve the bike back to home base wins the match. This gamemode will be inf only with player specific kits (roster). 7. "PR Survival Edition" A gamemode where players struggle to survive against an AI Team. The players will start at the one end of the map. Their mission is to reach to the other end of the map by moving through checkpoints placed on the map. The catch of this gamemode is that there will be no assets, fobs, supplies or respawn points. once you go dead - dead, you are out. The only ways to respawn would be by the rally points place down by squad leads and the commander. So here we go. These are some of the gamemodes currently planned out. If you got any questions or some ideas of your own, feel free to post them below. All competitions / events will be announced at least 2 weeks prior so people would have enough time to plan out their time and sign up. The events will most likely take place on the weekends.
